Process Post - Held Together

This by far was the most frustrating 3D work I've made in a while. Perhaps it is because I did not have a detailed plan on how it would look when I began working on it. I began with the chain that concented the models, and added on, hoping to make some interesting shapes and accents to make it more art-like and less kitsch. I definitely created something, but countless things went wrong - I couldn't make all the accents, the main chain is too short, the design felt too "easy" and there was a struggle to tell when I could stop. Less is more, and that's what this piece is trying to tell me. Regardless, the concept is something worthwhile to explore, and it would be fun to do a series on jewelry for two to wear and share.
