Noelani Jones - Meeting Artists and their works

After seeing Noelani Jones speak about what inspires her to create, I feel a sense of my own creativity sparking and finding new inspiration in nature. I was perviously reserved to using other materials to create art, like natural fibers and materials, which I will try incoorperating in my future pieces more. I asked her about art block, to which she told me the remedy was to spend time outdoors. I think I will be trying to make preliminary sketches outside so I can add patterns of nature in my work more often.
