I'm going to be honest, I struggled hard with what to make this project about. I knew that I wanted to continue the pattern and cultural ink motif Iy have going on, and the self-portrait arc, but I want to move away from the red ink and into other colors so I have more options. I ended up choosing this composition, and I hope it conveys the feeling I'm going for. Like the in-class project, I will be using a projector to trace the image I am using as a reference, switch it to black and white to take care of the shading with water and brushes, and then add the details on top, this time likey with blue or purple ink. That's it for now, but stay tuned! :)
